BASIC and FORTE: twice the concentration

FORTE has exactly twice the extract concentration of BASIC made from the same mushroom: 5 ml BASIC = 2.5 ml FORTE and 10 ml BASIC = 5 ml FORTE, for the same quantity of extract. FORTE therefore provides more extract in a smaller volume of liquid. This compares concentration and does not imply therapeutic effects.

Everyday value: a comparison example

This general range comparison uses the retail prices of BASIC 100 ml at €44.95 and FORTE 150 ml at €119.95. As an economic example, 3.5 ml BASIC costs approximately €1.57 per day; the same quantity of extract is contained in 1.75 ml FORTE, costing approximately €1.40 per day.

At 1.75 ml per day, a 150 ml FORTE bottle lasts approximately 85.7 days. With its double concentration, one 150 ml FORTE bottle contains the same quantity of extract as three 100 ml BASIC bottles: €134.85 for three BASIC bottles versus €119.95 for one FORTE, a saving of €14.90.

These quantities illustrate concentration and cost only and do not replace the recommended daily serving on the label. In particular, 1.75 ml FORTE is a mathematical example for obtaining the BASIC quantity of extract, not a FORTE serving recommendation. The actual recommended FORTE serving may be 3.5–5 ml per day; always follow the instructions for the specific product. Calculations are rounded and based on the stated prices; they may change if prices change.

Organic cultivation and selected raw materials

Quality starts with organically cultivated mushrooms and carefully selected raw materials. The raw materials and parts used, including fruiting bodies where relevant, depend on the species and formula. Within the Mycolife range, mycelium is used only in relevant formulations and where legally permitted: not all products contain mycelium. Refer to the ingredient list for the composition of each product.

Dual extraction and an alcohol-free final formula

The process has two extraction stages, one using water and one using alcohol, to extract components with different solubilities. The alcohol used during processing is subsequently removed and the extract is incorporated into a plant-based glycerin base. The finished product is alcohol-free.

The laboratory testing programme is being developed progressively. Available analyses and documentation may differ by species, product and batch: not all extracts have undergone the same tests. We therefore distinguish the documented checks for each product and batch without extending results to the entire range.
